Impact and Sustainability
We align our initiatives with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A local-first approach drives our actions but with a global impact. We aim to create inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable cities and communities by focusing on three core pillars: social inclusion, environmental protection, and economic growth

MM Manifesto
In 2018, to mark our second anniversary, we created the MM Manifesto – a declaration of our values and ambitions. It outlines our commitment to a sustainable future, collective action, and shared values within our communities. By signing the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) in 2019, we align MM’s operations with global standards in human rights, labour, environmental practices, and anti-corruption efforts.

We believe everyone has the right to access affordable, nutritious, and culturally inclusive food. Our focus on seasonal and local produce guarantees integrity and authenticity – what we call ‘Food As It Should Be’.

We work with local producers, farmers, and food traders committed to sustainability. Since 2016, we’ve championed the circular economy by reducing food waste and using resources responsibly, ensuring a healthier planet for future generations.

Food is essential to wellbeing, and we strive to make nutritious food accessible for all. We empower people with the knowledge to make informed, sustainable food choices through workshops, cookery classes, and educational activities.
