Come along to the screening of Mercato’s new series The Unknown Chef, released on Apple TV and Prime Video on 14 November.

The series follows the stories of four immigrants who bring the flavours of Syria, Namibia, Nepal and Uzbekistan to London’s Mercato Metropolitano. Through their food, they share heritage, family and identity while building new lives in Britain. It is a story about resilience, culture and the power of a meal to connect us all.

The first episode focuses on Mouna, a refugee from Aleppo, Syria. Her food stall at Mercato Metropolitano carries the scents, stories and recipes of her homeland, offering a moving portrait of resilience and the way food can keep culture alive.
