Julio Bruno www.juliobruno.com is an international media, travel and entertainment executive with a varied and successful career across continents and business sectors. Julio has led multinational companies such as Time Out Group plc, where, as CEO, he marshalled its IPO on London’s AIM in 2016. During his tenure, he led the international expansion of the famous Time Out Market to many cities from New York to Dubai, becoming the global benchmark for premium food halls with over 10 million visitors in 2019. He led the digital transformation of the famous Time Out media brand present in 59 countries and over 300 cities worldwide.

Julio was awarded ‘Business Leader of the Year – Consumer Media’ by Campaign UK in 2021. Prior to Time Out, Julio held executive positions at TripAdvisor, Travelport, Regus, Energizer and Diageo.

Julio founded his company, BR1 Creative, at the end of 2021, working with the startup community as an investor and board director, and as a strategic advisor for a number of international companies.

Julio has been awarded the ‘Order of Civil Merit of Spain– Officer’s Cross’ for his services to the country. As an advocate for Diversity, Equity& Inclusion, he has been selected in the 2021 Heroes Advocate Executive list, celebrating the Top 35 global leaders championing and advocating for women in the workplace; Top 50 EM power Advocate Executive 2021 list of global leaders advocating for ethnic minorities; and Top 100 OUTstanding LGBT+ Role Model global list 2021(all recognitions awarded by Yahoo! Finance and Involve).
